Norman Cabrera

Norman is a highly respected veteran of the creature effects industry with over 40 years of professional experience and has lent his superlative artistic skills to many of Hollywood’s biggest blockbusters and TV series.

At the age of 20, Cabrera began his career working on projects for the legendary Rick Baker. Among his many credits while working for Baker are Harry and the Hendersons, Coming to America, Gremlins 2, Gorillas in the Mist, and Men in Black 3.

In addition to his work for Rick Baker, Norman has shared his talents with many of the FX industry’s leading studios, including Steve Johnson's XFX, Amalgamated Dynamics Inc., KNB EFX Group, Patrick Tatopoulos Designs, Morphology FX, Arjen Tuiten’s R-E-N, and Spectral Motion.

Film and television credits include The Walking Dead, Star Trek Beyond, Hellboy 1 & 2, Kill Bill, Cabin in the Woods, From Dusk Till Dawn, Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, Blade: Trinity, Annabelle, and Ghostbusters: Afterlife, just to name a few. 

Norman has also provided stage design and FX makeup for such noted musical acts as The Ramones, Danzig, The Misfits, and Rob Zombie.
