JABBAR RAISANI

Jabbar Raisani is an LA-based director & Emmy-winning visual effects supervisor. Prior to taking the helm as director with his feature film directorial debut with Alien Outpost, Raisani played pivotal roles as Visual Effects Supervisor on Game of Thrones (Emmy win), Fright Night, Predators, and Robert Rodriguez's Machete. Jabbar's credits also include such blockbusters as Iron Man, Indiana Jones, Fantastic Four, and Superman Returns.

EDDIE YANG

Production designer, creature artist, and entrepreneur Eddie Yang has been a working artist in the film industry for over 35 years. He got his start as a sculptor/designer for Academy Award-winning make-up effects artist Rick Baker in 1987. During that time, Eddie worked on many memorable projects for Baker, including Men in Black 1 & 2, The Nutty Professor, Gremlins 2: The New Batch, How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Tim Burton’s Planet of the Apes, and Mighty Joe Young, just to name a few.

In 2003, after 16 years on Baker’s team at Cinovation Studios, Eddie returned to Stan Winston Studio (SWS), where he had worked on Predator early in his career. At SWS, Eddie contributed his creativity to many films, both as a digital designer and practical sculptor, including Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, Fantastic Four, Eight Below, War of the Worlds, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull, Avatar, and Iron Man.

Eddie founded the Eddie Yang Studio in 2007, designing creatures, specialty costumes, and production art for several feature films, including The Dark Knight Rises, The Amazing Spider-Man, Tron: Legacy, Man of Steel, and 2014’s RoboCop. In 2013, he teamed up with Steve Wang to create Alliance Studio and was the production designer on Alien Outpost, directed by fellow SWS veteran Jabbar Raisani.

More recently, Eddie led the creation of the stunning armor suits seen in Netflix's Illang: The Wolf Brigade, which went on to win Best Costume Design at the 55th Grand Bell Awards in Korea. One of the earliest artists to utilize 3D Printing in creating specialty costume and creature suits, Eddie thrives on the challenge of pushing the boundaries of the art of character and prop creation.
