Overview
This fabrication effects course pathway is for beginning FX fabricators who want to start learning the essential skills required to begin fabricating characters, including puppets & costumes. The courses in this curriculum will teach you about the most common fabrics, foams & materials you'll encounter in the creature fabrication field, and how to cut and shape them using a collection of cutting implements and, finally, how to put it all together with glues, thread, and fastening devices.
