Michael Martin
Michael comes to the SWSCA team with a lifelong love of all things monsters and movies, an obsession lovingly fostered by understanding parents who reveled in the magic of film. A childhood spent animating clay dinosaurs, being covered in grease paint and baking foam latex would lead to a wide variety of theatre, film, television and radio experiences. Michael is a fan of Stan Winston, Rick Baker, Dick Smith and Tom Savini. An award-winning indie filmmaker, Michael currently focuses on writing low-budget screenplays and blogging for the Stan Winston School of Character Arts. Michael lives in Boise, Idaho with his wife Samantha, a National Public Radio anchor, reporter and producer and their colorful array of cats and birds.
