Stan Winston School is On the Rise!
MONSTER FANS! Well... We asked for your help, and again, you delivered with force!
Thanks to you fantastic, devoted creature lovers, we have been nominated and now SELECTED as YouTube's On The Rise Channel for October! We get the distinct privilege of announcing this exciting honor on a day we're participating in YouTube Space LA's Scream Lab!
Coincidence? Perhaps. But the truth is, we are so proud of the friendship we've got brewing with the young creative team of makers at YouTube, that this award means the world to us. Because we love what we do. And we love video!
And this gives us another reason to tell the whole world how much we love what we're doing.
Our Mission? Connecting the top artists in Creature FX, themselves masters of the techniques and values pioneered by Stan Winston, with a worldwide audience of creature and character artists, monster and movie fans who can't wait to hear what they've got to share! And it couldn't happen anywhere nearly as immediately without the platform that has changed the face of entertainment, our view of it anyway, forever. We're talking about YouTube.
It's not just a place to post your 'Best Vines of Mid 2013 Montage'. It may very well be the most effective tool we use to unite the world of monster makers. At Stan Winston School, we put a lot of energy into our channel. It's turned us into broadcasters, and we take that very seriously.
Every day, our subscribers tell us how much they love what we produce and look forward to what's coming next. That makes us so proud.
Practical effects have never had more eyes on it. But we want MORE. We want our channel to continue to be the first place movie fans look to learn how it was done, who's making what, and how they'll be doing it tomorrow. So make sure all your friends and fellow monster lovers know they have a place to connect with tons of people who love characters like they do - www.YouTube.com/StanWinstonSchool.
